# How to Play Personal Deception on Cosmos Video

Personal Deception is a bluffing party game where one teammate is spotlighted, they privately submit a true answer about themselves, and everyone else invents convincing lies. The group then votes on which answer is the truth. It is built for teams of 3 or more and runs directly inside a Cosmos Video space with no external tools.

## Rules

1. One player is chosen as the subject of the round and receives a personal prompt.
2. The subject writes their real, truthful answer in private.
3. Every other player writes a fake answer that sounds like it could be true.
4. All answers are shuffled and shown to the group without author names.
5. Players vote on which answer they believe is the subject's real response.
6. Points are awarded for correctly identifying the truth and for lies that receive votes.
7. A new subject is chosen and play continues until everyone has had a turn.

## Setup in Cosmos Video

1. Enter a public Cosmos Space or create your own.
2. Walk up to a game table with the gamified appearance.
3. Press X on the keyboard, or click Games in the toolbar.
4. Select Personal Deception and pick the first subject.
